DETAIL SUMMARY OF WORK: We were responsible for the design and installation of the full-sized and openable glass horizontal folding door, to realise the concept of a “museum where people could congregate on a daily basis”. An unprecedented attempt to open up the museum, 14 large doors, each 5.1m in width, and 10m in height, were installed. The most important theme from a technical viewpoint, was to ensure safety, in light of the environment, where undetermined numbers of people in close proximity. In realising the design, we applied to construction, industrial technology used in hangers, and large-scale factories.
