2022.1.19

In response to the request for the application of priority measures to prevent the spread of new coronaviruses, it has been decided to postpone this exhibition,
We have decided to postpone the exhibition.

We would like to extend our sincere apologies to all those who have been looking forward to the exhibition and to all those who have supported it.
We will inform you of the timing of the exhibition as soon as it is decided.

Surface design, which creates the “face” of architecture and weaves the expression of cities, has been playing an increasingly important role in recent years. This is due to the rapid progress and spread of digital technology. Computer analysis has made it possible to freely realize designs that were previously considered difficult, and the degree of freedom of expression has expanded. However, computers are not the only means by which architecture is created. People are always involved, and their technical skills, in other words, craftsmanship, support the realization of architecture. This exhibition explores the “new horizons of architecture” that design x technology and supporting craftsmanship are opening up.

The contents of the September issue of Detail Separate Volume Contemporary Surface Design and Technology, published in 2021, have been reorganized for the exhibition. Photographs and drawings are printed on large 3m x 2m panels. Some of the photographs and drawings are printed on large 3m x 2m panels, and small mock-ups are displayed to give visitors a sense of dynamic realism that could not be conveyed in the book. In addition, AGB technicians will be available to answer questions upon request. We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition, where you can experience the latest architectural designs as realistically as if you were strolling along a city street.
