This workshop is an educational program organized by the NPO Art and Architect Festa, where architecture students from across Japan collaborate to create and present projects. Through summer intensive workshops, students gain end-to-end experience in design, construction, and presentation, honing their “Ability to Create” and “Ability to Communicate” in architecture. Bringing together students from diverse universities, this environment for mutual growth and challenge across academic years and majors provides a valuable learning opportunity within architectural education.
In addition to special sponsorship, AGB employees serve as advisors each year to support the production process. This year, two employees participated, offering students advice from the perspectives of structure and construction.
On Sunday, September 14, a public presentation was held at the Asia Pacific Trade Center (ATC) in Osaka, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd. Each team presented their work, followed by critiques from architects and researchers. Our Chairman, Masayuki Sakurai, also took the stage as one of the critics, evaluating the students’ efforts.
AGB will continue to engage in activities that support the development of the next generation of talent studying architecture.
