One of Our Employees Won the “DigitalFUTURES Young Award 2026”

Hiroki Awaji of Asahi Building Wall Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “AGB”) has received the “DigitalFUTURES Young Award 2026”, presented by “DigitalFUTURES”, an international community dedicated to digital technology in the fields of architecture and design.

The DigitalFUTURES Young Award recognizes young researchers, practitioners, educators, and others who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributions in the fields of digital design and digital fabrication early in their careers.

While engaged in practical facade engineering work at our firm, Awaji is also continuously conducting research on architectural production technologies that utilize computational design and digital fabrication. In recent years, he has been presenting his research findings at academic conferences and international meetings both in Japan and abroad, engaging in activities that bridge the gap between practice and research.

This award recognizes these ongoing research and practical activities.

At AGB, we will continue to explore the potential of new construction technologies through technical development and research activities in the field of facade engineering.
