Interior Design”.Best of Year Awards Winner 2019

We are pleased to announce that Raffles Hotel BODEGA (Singapore), supervised by our overseas office AGB-SIGAPORE, has won the “Best of Year 2019 in Hotel Dining” from among 2,638 entries in the awards organized by the American interior design magazine Interior Design. Interior Design magazine, awarded “Best of Year 2019” in the Hotel Dining category out of 2,638 entries.

AGB’s Solution
To fulfill the designer’s vision of a 20-meter lighting fixture floating in the center of the restaurant without hanging from the ceiling, AGB proposed the use of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) for the main structure, drawing on its expertise in façade engineering accumulated in Japan. We proposed to use CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) for the main structure. By collaborating with Toray Carbon Magic, we were able to take on the challenge of developing applications for carbon materials. We also selected finishing materials from global suppliers and proposed them to the designers. We supervised the assembly of the product in Japan, planned the transportation to the site, divided the product for transportation, and reassembled and completed the product at the site.
