Initiatives to Improve the Meeting Environment, Focusing on the 4th-Floor Conference Room at Headquarters

2026.4.15

Asahi Building Wall Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “AGB”) is working to improve its meeting facilities, with a focus on the conference room on the 4th floor of its headquarters.

This initiative is one of the measures implemented as part of the renovation of the 4th floor of our headquarters, and its purpose is to create an environment where meetings can begin smoothly and participants can focus on the content.

We are currently rolling out Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) on the 4th floor of our headquarters and have begun using them in various meeting rooms. In addition, we have installed large-screen displays—85-inch, 75-inch, and 65-inch models—tailored to the size of each meeting room, with the aim of creating a meeting environment that offers excellent visibility and a high level of immersion.

Based on the same philosophy, we are also working to improve the meeting environment on the 8th floor of our headquarters, with the goal of enabling seamless meetings across floors with a consistent user experience.

These initiatives have led to the following improvements:
・Reduced time required to connect HDMI cables and set up equipment
・Elimination of tangled cables after meetings, minimizing disruption for the next users

However, there are still operational challenges and issues that need to be addressed, and we are currently in the process of continuing to test and improve the system to ensure stable operation.

At AGB, we view the meeting environment not merely as IT infrastructure, but as a fundamental component of our business operations that supports the quality of our thinking and decision-making. Moving forward, we will continue to make improvements based on user feedback and work to create an office environment that fosters creativity and productivity.
