Supported “The 3rd Exhibition of Kanazawa Architectural Museum in Commemoration of Yoshiro Taniguchi and Yoshio Taniguchi”.

We are pleased to announce that we are co-sponsoring the 3rd special exhibition “The Power of Kanazawa – Architectural Culture in Layers” to be held at the Yoshiro Taniguchi & Yoshio Kanazawa Architectural Museum.

This exhibition focuses on Kanazawa, a city that has played an important role in Japanese architecture since the modern era, and presents a three-dimensional view of how the city’s rich architectural culture was formed and has been passed down from generation to generation.
The exhibition will carefully examine the multilayered history of the city of Kanazawa and the architecture that has emerged in response to it, as well as the relationship between crafts and the local climate, and will ask how we should deal with architectural culture in the modern age.

AGB has collaborated with Yoshio Taniguchi on the “GINZA SIX Goodwill Series” (2017) and “The Okura Tokyo Promenade” (2019), expressing the philosophy and aesthetic sense of architecture in the form of facades.
We are honored to be able to pay tribute to Kanazawa’s architectural heritage and spirit through our sponsorship of this exhibition, and to contribute to activities that will connect the value of Kanazawa’s architecture to the future.
